Chapter 1669

No.1

“Give it up! Your precious Alexander is obsessed with Isabella now! He doesn’t want you anymore! Tonight, you belong to me!”

The man pinned Victoria down and ripped her dress to shreds.

Fabric tore violently, leaving her exposed in nothing but her undergarments. She sobbed uncontrollably, trembling with raw fear.

Isabella’s brow furrowed. Had Alexander truly sunk so low as to orchestrate this violation?

Even in the dim light, she recognized the man’s surgically altered profile. Her sharp eyes identified him instantly: Vincent Moreau.

His gaze was brutish, features coarse and unrefined. Yellowed teeth flashed in a predatory grin. After hiding in these backwoods for five years, he had emerged to attack Victoria.

“I know you crave vengeance, Isabella,” Alexander murmured from the shadows, grasping her hand. “Consider this my most sincere apology. I vow to never disappoint you again. Victoria means nothing to me now. I will spend my life making amends, repaying my mistakes a hundred times over.”

His voice dripped with manufactured sincerity. Even he couldn’t distinguish truth from performance anymore. Somewhere along the way, his feelings for Isabella had shifted.

Isabella merely scoffed, yanking her hand free. She strode toward the hut’s entrance.

Alexander frowned. What was she doing?

Bam!

The wooden door exploded inward under her kick. She marched straight into the bedroom.

Inside, Vincent was aggressively mauling Victoria. Her clothes lay in tattered ruins.

“Pathetic,” Isabella spat.

She approached the bed, her fingers expertly finding a seam on Victoria’s face. With a sharp tug, she ripped.

Fwoop!

A lifelike silicone mask peeled away. The woman beneath was not Victoria.

The air froze.

Vincent gaped in shock. Alexander, who had just entered, stood equally stunned.

He had paid a fortune for that custom mask. How had Isabella detected the forgery in near darkness? Her perception was terrifying.

Isabella tossed the mask dismissively. It landed at Alexander’s feet.

Her eyes hardened into icy daggers. “What did you hope to achieve with this pathetic charade?” she sneered.

“Isabella, I…” Alexander was utterly disarmed, words failing him.

He had envisioned her falling into his arms with gratitude, not exposing his deception.

Isabella turned her fury on Vincent. She seized his collar and hauled him off the bed.

She lifted a man weighing over 70 kilograms with terrifying ease.

With explosive force, she slammed him against the wall. The entire hut shuddered from the impact.

“Argh!”

He crumpled to the floor, howling in agony. His insides felt rearranged. What kind of woman possessed such monstrous strength?

Before he could speak, Isabella advanced. Each step radiated lethal intent.

Isabella Montgomery stood facing Vincent Moreau, her gaze glacial.

This man had destroyed her five years ago. He shattered her entire existence!

It didn't matter that Victoria Kensington had bribed him. He was a grown man who committed an unspeakable act against an innocent woman. A fully grown adult!

A man like him deserved to die.

Her fists clenched so tightly her knuckles turned white. Isabella drove her punch straight into Vincent's face.

"Argh!"

Vincent crashed to the floor, a tooth flying from his mouth. As he struggled to rise, Isabella was already on him, delivering kick after punch.

Her eyes held a murderous glint. Each blow was fueled by pure, unadulterated rage. She pummeled him like he was nothing but a practice dummy.

"Aaarghhh!"

Vincent screamed in agony, arms wrapped around his head as he curled into a ball. "Mr. Whitmore... Mr. Whitmore! Help... help me! Argh!"

Each cry was more pitiful than the last, a symphony of pure pain.

Alexander Whitmore wanted to intervene, but the aura radiating from Isabella was too lethal!

Besides...

Isabella needed this. She needed to unleash her fury. Only then could she possibly forgive him.

"You brought this on yourself," Alexander stated coldly. "Take it like a man."

Helpless, Vincent could only endure the beating, shrinking further into himself.

This only infuriated Isabella more. Her rage boiled over. "Damn you! My life was ruined by a worthless piece of trash like you?! You disgusting pig!"

She hauled him up again, ready to hurl him straight through the window.

Vincent panicked. If she threw him out, he'd be crippled for life... if he survived at all!

Was Isabella insane? Did she actually intend to kill him?

"Wait, wait!" he shrieked. "Stop! It wasn't me! I wasn't the one who slept with you that night!"

"Liar!"

Isabella scoffed. Did he really think she'd believe such an obvious lie?

She tightened her grip and launched him through the shattered window.

Crash!

Vincent flew through the broken frame, splintered wood scattering everywhere. The violence of the scene resembled a high-stakes action film.

Alexander stared, stunned. Since when had Isabella become so strong? He remembered a weak, shy girl. This woman was pure power.

Vincent landed hard on the ground outside, blood spurting from his mouth. He groaned weakly, "Not me... really wasn't me...! Why won't you believe me...?!"

Isabella's eyes narrowed. What did he mean, it wasn't him? Her investigation was thorough. Victoria had paid him. The evidence was clear.

She leaped through the ruined window, grabbed his arm, and started dragging him away. "Save your excuses. I'm taking you to the police!"

She might not be pressing charges against Victoria yet, but she needed this evidence secured.

Five years of pain. They would all pay dearly for it.
